I feel, like all beginning relationships, I should start by introducing myself. Salutations. Nice to meet all of you. My name is....well, truth be told I absolutely hate my name, so you can call me Cassandra. Cassie, for short. And I'm from somewhere that's home but that I was glad to leave nonetheless. I will say this, though, I am American. I attend university in Roma, Italy where I study, eat pasta, and generally get rained on a lot.
I'm no fashion student, no photographer, and certainly not a stylist or designer myself, but I love beauty in all shapes and forms and will thusly be posting a lot of beautiful pictures, outfits, and ideas. I am in university, so I might not always have time to update, but I solemnly swear to be honest and truthful throughout all.
My biggest influences are my friends, my mother, random people on the street, and, honestly, things I pick up from other blogs. I love love music, art, prose and poetry, and good food, so you'll be seeing a number of seemingly random but lovely things posted.
I am not a size 0, nor do I expect you to be, but I am not going to peddle that menial "everyone is beautiful" stuff because, frankly, that is just not always true. My main point is do what makes you happy. If it makes you happy to be a size 0 and not eat anything at all, go for it. If it makes you happy to eat ten candy bars a day and be a size 16, then Go You!
I'm just like all of you in that sometimes I have good days and sometimes I have bad days. This translates into that I will sometimes post long entries, sometimes post short ones, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but I always love criticism and welcome all opinions.
